Hostilities at the second edition of the Ecobank National Schools’ Team Chess Championship continued on Friday, as Platform School emerged winners of the secondary schools category, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
The competition, which began on Thursday with the primary schools category on opening day, saw action resume on day two with 134 secondary schools from across the country taking part. In the end, Platform School came in first position after six gruelling rounds of activity, followed by Daysprings Secondary School who ended as runners-up while Shima Academy placed third.
